My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2019. Her chemotherapy took place whilst the coronavirus was taking hold in the UK. Our self-isolation was particularly strict due to her compromised immune system and consequently, friends and relatives were unable to visit. Gifts of delivered flowers arrived frequently with written cards of kind messages of support.

Words that frequently appeared that resonated with me were ‘here for you’. I photographed some of these flowers as a personal project in a home studio using available window light.
